My wife and I are in our mid-forties and my mother recently suffered a hospitalization. She unfortunately was not able to come back home and was placed in a long term care facility. We were working on trying to clean out her apartment. Things were going slow as we were overwhelmed taking care of her other health and financial matters. To make is worse we got a call from the apartments letting us know that her lease was up! We knew that there was no way that we could get the apartment (and garage) taken care of in a timely manner. Especially since I just had shoulder surgery and couldn’t even pick up a box to begin sorting. My wife knew that we at the limit of our ability to handle the situation and needed help. She was able to find Heidi with Life Easier online.
We reached out to Heidi about our situation and she was kind enough to come out and give us a free consultation that same day. We were able to explain to Heidi that while we knee we could call in a junk hauler to take everything away we wanted as much as possible to be resused and go to charities that could use the items and get them to people in need. Heidi was able to come up with a plan to help us out. She even included contacts to other vendors in case her quote was too expensive and we needed to just have it all disposed with a junk hauler. Heidi and Rolfe showed up the next week to start getting everything moved out sorted and donated. Whenever they came across something they thought was valuable or sentimental they would give it to me to sort. Within 3 days they had everything cleaned sorted and donated. They were awesome! I can not say enough good things about Heidi. She and Rolfe were professional, efficient, and super hard workers! Heidi was incredible, especially as a resource for emotional support and guidance throughout the process. She is a kind and empathic person that helped us through a tough time. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend!
