VALERIE UNGER SHY

Valerie was born in California. Because her father was in the US Air Force, Valerie and her family had the opportunity to live in New York, Ohio, West Germany, and Arizona. She earned her bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Valerie continued to be a lover of travel and when she married her husband, they spent several years exploring, even living in the Palestinian Occupied Territories, and visiting Croatia.

Today, she works for Charlotte Mecklenburg County Schools as a substitute teacher as well as working for Life Easier LLC on large client projects. Valerie has a passion for helping people who want to make changes in their lives by lessening the amount of items in their homes. She even owned her own organizing business at one point.

When she’s not working, Valerie volunteers at Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s Animal Care and Control and has served in several roles with them including keeping the laundry room organized and laundry under control, assisting the processing of animals in the free the spay/neuter clinic, and exercising the animals.

And, Valerie loves hats! So if you have a collection of hats you adore, Valerie would love to see them!
